The true about the technology

The opinion of the new generations about technology:

We can see that maybe the old generations don’t think in play the video games like a wii, or talk each other while you are in the other side of the world or maybe use touch television but the new generation yes! These are some examples about the new inventions of the men produce for facility the life. But these artifacts belong the new generations.

The question is how are the new generation? The answer for this question is complicated because the technology advanced every day, this means that expectations of this generation change too. So in this moment I consider that this generation is superficial because don’t live well without technology for example the cell phones, internet or the social networks.

The social networks is actually part of the life of the person, in the morning you wake up and you needs know about the latest new about your friends or you profile. This has caused that relationships fall away because you don’t give hugs or kisses don’t exists intimate contact. So the friendship is technologic and maybe is not real.

I like the technology but I know the consequences that this cause if you use in excess, I feel afraid for the new generations for example for mi future children because maybe don’t care the emotional relation only the robotic relation and this is worrying.

Points of view about Immigration

The immigration give the impression of be a bad aspect in the states especially for the economy and political resources. Actually this phenomenon is very common in the U.S, and also in Costa Rica. This happen when the people the other nationality come from other countries for living in the new state for the purpose of get better conditions for example education, jobs, health services or something like this.

This has pros and cons, some arguments in favor are:

1. Immigration leads to an exchange of cultural values. It results in an exchange of knowledge and expertise between two nations.
2. Immigration serves as an opportunity to interact with people of other countries.
3. Immigration has resulted in gifting the knowledge of one nation to another, thus resulting in the creation of new fields of education and newer career options
4. Immigration results in an open global market.

The cons are:

1. Crowding
2. Immigrants may bring in diseases that prevailed in their country. Pathogens, viruses and certain serious infections have a chance of being transferred between countries through the immigrants
3. The jobs and the wealth of a nation are its property and that allowing immigration implies the distribution of this property among the non-natives. Immigration implies the distribution of a nation's wealth to those who do not have a right on it
4. The costs incurred in the provision of resources such as education and health facilities to the immigrants are a burden on the nation that hosts immigrants in large numbers

In consequence the immigration has different points of view but is certain that all in excess is bad, consequently I think this exactly the problem that produces the immigration. Because in the last years the increasing of population had been very high and this produce shortage of resources and discomfort for the habitants and government. Change cultures and offer new way for live is good but this had to be appropriate for the conditions of the countries that receive immigrants.

Homework

Homework is useless?

The only thing that comes to my mind is that homework is busy work, is perhaps not related to learning that counts, or is not “effective time on task.” Another possibility is that the homework, being spread over a variety of subjects, means that the amount of extra time on a particular subject is not significant enough to aid achievement in that subject or overall. With just these few possibilities, it seems that we need to know more to understand the effect, or non-effect, of homework on school achievement. The homework is a topic not common in the students because always is associated with hard working or something boring. But many professors think that homework is good for learn. So, exist many arguments for against or in favor about that. For example some people believe in the homework because is a way for force the students to make the extra work others think that this let practice that lessons in home and this allow that student memorize that matter.

In the other hand people think that homework is useless because maybe the students don’t make the homework yourself on the contrary, your friends or parents make it. Also think that homework produce stress in the students so doesn’t facilitates learning.

Harold Jarche (2006) said a point that is important to consider:

This argument evidence that homework should be useful depends or the people because many students can’t advantage the homework because in your house’s have sounds and this distraction that don’t allow use the time for learn. And the school achievement is important because depends of the person the homework don’t is a good strategy for lean.

Finally we think in the homework like a strategy for the learn but actually exists other ways more effective for all types of learning and the world change and this means the education have to change for adapt to the environment.

Good evening, the present letter ha been written by three college students. We are writing to inform you that your show has been analyzed and we have some suggestions and comments about it.

Last week we watched the show, we noticed the host interviewed a man in regards to his relationship with a specific woman the host made many personal questions that consequently made the person being interviewed upset about the whole situation. Later on, some girls came out with sexy clothes and we thought: What would happen if children watch that?

These aspects got us wondering about the main purpose of the show and what reaction is it producing in people’s minds; we want you to think seriously about the importance of the private life. Also you have to be careful with the questions you ask in order to respect those persons.

On the other hand, we would appreciate it if you would check the schedule because the time of the show is at eight o’ clock, when children are awake and maybe watching T.V. and that show is intended to reach out adult audience because of the topics´ content.

We hope you to consider the information you are show to people so you can protect values like tolerance and respect.

Advantages and disadvantages of living longer

Living Longer

When the people are younger enjoy the life in every moments, take a decisions important in your life and see the world with the perspective around them. Many people use this stage for practice sports, learn languages or have relationships with a specific person. The idea for this is that people young feel so good and strong for make wherever they want. But is a reality that people grown up and when this happen the strong is less and the time is short for to realize some goals.

It is fairly certain that old people feel less expectation about your future because they lived enough things and have almost experience, but the people have incorrect ideas about the elder age because see the old people with contempt or useless because think that this people don’t know about the technology and no use but this is a tragic reality because be old not mean be boring or useless. Opposite and this ideas many old people enjoy your life have a hobbies, walk in the park, learn languages, learn technology have a new romance and many things.

Therefore, the life is short but the elderly is a precious stage or the life but this depends of the person want to see, my grandfather died when they had 99 ages and you r life is good because he eats fruits, walk all mornings and enjoy your life. This shows that living longer is possible with good habits and positive thinks about this age. Positivism is a most important aspect in the life because promote the health and don’t allow bad influences and bad comments, so enjoy your life!

The animals are very popular in the people young, old and in the children’s, well some reasons for this is the tenderness that show us, the animals are together in the bad or good times but exists one reason most funny and interesting to have a pets: the intelligence of the animals. Jennifer Viegas (2006) describe this reality in his article of discovery news and she said:

“People generally define intelligence in terms that place our own species at the apex, but recent studies on other animals suggest skills such as abstract thinking, problem solving, reasoning, and language — once thought unique to us — may not be so uncommon after all”.

Yes! Is true a few animals can understand any instructions and emotions for example:
The chimpanzee: have an ability by memorize or show emotions
Dolphins: are very creative and protects themselves
Elephant. can distinguishes himself and provide support to other animals
The octopus: have a brain like a humans, this explain why the octopus was call “Paul” was a most popular animal during the World Cup 2010 because this animal to guess the winner team each match
These examples give you an idea about the intelligence of the animals, so is important don’t disparage the animals like a pets, because they maybe should surprise with their behaviors. My pet for example is call Toby, is a dog, when I feel sad he seems my pain and approached me and put your head in my hands and this make me feel good. I love the animals and I hope that everyone see the animals like a worth thing and I think that animals will surprise us ever with your funny behaviors and obviously her prove intelligence.

smoking should be banned in all public spaces.?

Smoke in public places yes or not?

Smoke is a personal an action of the people for reduce the stress or for the simple reason that like them. This is like a liberal expression of do wherever you want in the moment and the place that you prefer .This is a good idea but we can´t forget that we live in society; this means that we must to be respect with the others.
Exists personal aspects like a decision or smoke or not but exists other factors like a social and this aspect concerns all people, for example the health. The health is the most important thing in the life because if you are the sickness person you don´t live good, is for this when you choose actions fr your life you have to think in the other people that live around you and the action of smoke is not a exception.
We knows that smoke is bad for the health because have a consequences for example you should have a cancer by the chemical substances or respiratory problems this means that smokers and the people around of them are exposed to this, more effects are:
“The major effects of smoking are the lung cancer (Smoking and Lung Cancer), coronary heart disease, mouth cancer and severe problems regarding throat, kidney, bladder and pancreas. Most of the diseases caused due to smoking are so severe that there are no treatments available for these diseases.”
For this reason I´m agree about the banned in the public places because who smoke not only hurts himself also of the people around them. The people decide themselves what are doing but have to be careful with these decisions because maybe could it cause problems the others.
